ప్రాచీన తెలుగు విశిష్ట అధ్యయన కేంద్రం ఆరంభం   దే శంలోని అన్ని తెలుగు విద్యావిభాగాల్లో పరిశోధనలను వినూత్నంగా, శక్తిమంతంగా ప్రోత్సహించి వివిధ విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల్లో, కళాశాలల్లో జరుగుతున్న పరిశోధనలపై ప్రత్యేక శ్రద్ధ వహించే విధంగా ప్రాచీన తెలుగు విశిష్ట అధ్యయన కేంద్రం మార్గ నిర్దేశం చేయాలి. భారత ప్రభుత్వం తలపెట్టిన ప్రణాళికల్లో ప్రాచీన భారతీయ భాషల పరిరక్షణ, పోషణ, అభ్యున్నతి, ప్రాచుర్యం వంటివి అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యాంశాలు. దేశవ్యాప్తంగా వివిధ భాషల అభివృద్ధి కోసం మైసూరులోని భారతీయ భాషల కేంద్రం పని చేస్తోంది. భారత ప్రభుత్వం ప్రాచీన భాషల్ని వర్గీకరించాలని 2004లో నిర్ణయించింది. అనేక సంవత్సరాలుగా ప్రజలు చేస్తున్న విజ్ఞప్తుల మేరకు 2011లో తెలుగును ప్రాచీన భాషగా ప్రకటించారు. మైసూరులో ప్రాచీన తెలుగు విశిష్ట అధ్యయన కేంద్రం పనిచేయడం ప్రారంభమైంది. ఆపై దానికి సంబంధించి ప్రత్యేక కృషి అంటూ ఏమీ జరగలేదు. ఇటీవలే కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం రెండు తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాలకు లేఖలు రాసిన తరవాత మైసూరు నుంచి ప్రాచీన కేంద్రాన్ని రెండు తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో ఎక్కడికైనా తరలించేందుకు ప్రయత్నాలు ప్రారంభించారు. తెలుగు పరిశోధనలకు ఊతమిస్తూ భాషకు ఎంత...
